Four years ago, fresh off a pandemic divorce and 17 years of marriage, I found myself back on the apps—with no clue what I was doing.
I had zero dating game, but I did have 20 years in digital marketing. So I treated dating like any good campaign: test, learn, optimize. I downloaded seven apps, rewrote my profile a dozen times, and figured out what actually gets people to stop scrolling (spoiler: it’s not saying you “love to laugh” or that you're “equally happy in heels or hiking boots”).
